Crypto exchange Gate.io is offering reduced commissions for traders whose monthly trading volume on other platforms exceeds 3,000 BTC, the company has announced in a press release and on its website.

Investors can apply to participate in the program until June 30, 2022. The exchange offers the following trading commissions: from 0.005% for makers and from 0.025% for takers in spot markets, from 0.020% for makers and from 0.030% for takers in futures markets.

Depending on the actual trading volume in the last 30 days, Gate.io assigns the investor a VIP client status from 11 to 15 levels. The higher the level, the lower the commission.

These reduces commissions are valid for 30 days from the date of confirmation of the application. Depending on the volume of trading on Gate.io, the exchange may determine a new level of VIP client and update the size of trading commissions.
