Mining Firm Blockware Sued for Improper Hosting Services

Faes & Company, a British-based company, has sued mining firm Blockware Solutions for improper hosting services.

According to the announcement, the parties entered into an agreement in October last year to acquire Faes $525,000 worth of Bitcoin miners and related hosting services.

Under the contract, Blockware agreed to host the installations at one of its facilities in Pennsylvania (USA) for a monthly fee and reimbursement of electricity costs.

However, the plaintiff alleges that at the time the agreement was entered into, Blockware “did not actually own or operate the miner hosting facility and was not capable of doing so reliably.”

Faes says:

“The facilities did not have reliable power (probably due to contractual restrictions with the electricity supplier), so the work of the miners is regularly interrupted or curtailed. As a result, installations running Blockware experience long downtime, resulting in significant revenue losses.”
