Reading Time: < 1 minute

FlexPool, one of the largest Ethereum mining pools, has just announced it will stop offering its services to Russian IP addresses due to the invasion of Ukraine. According to the statement:

“We generally do not get involved in politics despite our personal views as a company. However, this is greater than politics, greater than anyone. This is a war that may end the world.”

The team has apologized to Russian users who do not support the invasion. FlexPool said:

“This isn’t about politics; this is about preventing the end of the world and saving lives. Companies and people need to put the planet over profits in the modern era.”

At the moment, FlexPool is the fourth largest Ethereum pool in daily blocks mined, according to BTC.com.
